Jonas Brothers What You Need To Know

Posted by Doug Horne 15 November, 2009

New Jersey boy band Jonas Brothers are well known among a mixed variety of crowds ranging from cartoon enjoying kids and teens to older Broadway fans. Despite their apparent youth, the brothers have years of experience in the spotlight. They’re known to have made use of both their talents – music and acting – from a very young age.

Their premier album together was released in 2005 titled It’s About Time. Realizing very well that the success of the album depends on promoting it and giving fans a chance to watch them in action, they kicked off a short but successful promotional tour that lasted from November 5th – December 17th, 2005. Those were the first ever Jonas Brothers’ concerts and were limited to a few Eastern states in the US. But the success of their very first tour added to their confidence and they’ve since toured many other states across the US for months together.

Since that first promo tour, the band of brothers have had five successful tours – the Jonas Brothers American Club Tour, the Marvelous Party Tour, the Best of Both Worlds Tour, the Look Me in the Eyes Tour and the Burning Up Tour. Their musical success was given a boost by their original Disney flick Camp Rock which was premiered on the Disney Channel in summer last year. It went on to become the second most viewed DCOM (Disney Channel Original Movie) after High School Musical 2.

All these tours and the movie alongside their successful album sales – 8 million – boosted their confidence enough for them to start considering a world tour. The tour began in Peru on’th May, 2009 and will end on the 28th of November, 2009 in Poland. The tour includes shows on three continents – South America, Europe and North America.

You can be sure that all the Jonas Brothers’ tickets have been successfully sold for most of their concerts. No surprise considering their fan base of teenagers and youngsters. Those located in Australia and Asia have been a bit disappointed though. They were awaiting the announcement of dates for concerts on their continent but the Jonas Brothers haven’t yet mentioned anything about that though they did say they’d make them known after fixing their European and South American concert dates.

Jonas Brothers’ Tix for more destinations are still available and you’ll naturally want to grab a couple. Keep your eyes peeled for more on this. We’ll soon be providing you with a link to their tickets so you can catch your music heroes at live shows.
