Rise Of The Business Woman

Posted by Vicki Irvin 18 November, 2009

Women entrepreneurs have never had it this good. Many women run businesses have come up lately which have attained the backing of other institutions. With capital and credit not a problem anymore women businesses are here to stay. They currently account for more than one-tenth of all businesses.

Both men and women are equally equipped to do business. But conventional practice and living have denied women their rightful place in trade. But women are considered better managers because they view relationships differently and accord them very high importance. This may be one reason why women today are preferred business partners.

Second is absence of an inflated ego. The famous ‘male ego’ tends make men ignore or overlook their errors. Women are more accommodating and are more likely to accept an error. There by, they improve faster than men and don’t end up wasting crucial time. Women entrepreneurs hence fare just as well as their male counterparts or better.

Then there is the female intuition. This mysterious element working in heads (or hearts) of women help them make decisions which may seem irrational but turn out to be right. Attempts to understand it have given science the slip every time it gets close.

Women entrepreneurs are at an obvious disadvantage compared to their male counterparts. They can’t ignore familial responsibilities. Men can simply shrug it off and go on with work. But women simply can’t even if they are well off and have domestic help. This can bog them. Good time management and balance in both work and personal life is important to not get bogged.

It has not been easy for women to establish their reputation in the male chauvinistic business world. With every success they have proved that they are just as good as men or better in every kind of business. But in many businesses, they are still not considered equals, though this is not long in coming.

Vicki Irvin of the Superwoman Lifestyle Coach who is also known the Real Estate Investment Queen has been coaching several women entrepreneurs on how to improve business by working smart and concentrating on specific areas of your business thereby turning you into a superwoman who could not only be able to generate some income but even spend some free time with family, friends and fun.
