Some Reasons For Natural Hair Loss

Men and women today are experiencing a growing problem with natural hair loss. In some cases this is a hereditary condition that may be expected. But in most cases when an individual begins losing their hair they are often unaware of the underlying conditions that may be causing the loss.

Once heredity has been ruled out as the main reason for natural hair loss an individual must look at other factors. In the past, hair loss has been associated with aging. However with over 75 million men and women losing their hair at younger ages one must look at other reasons.

For women and men alike one of the primary reasons for hair thinning and loss is directly related to nutrition. The human body is a delicate machine and when there is an imbalance the body’s way of telling us that something is wrong is usually visual. In response to the many reports printed about obesity many people start diets which create a nutritional imbalance in their bodies.

Many diets are not created holistically. They do not include the important vitamins and minerals that keep hair follicles healthy. When a diet lacks vitamins and minerals that include B6, Folic Acid, Niacin, Zinc, and Magnesium hair will begin to thin and grow more slowly.

There are many incidents that people experience sudden natural hair loss when placed in a stressful situation. This can be a work related situation or a sudden crisis at home. These events cause the body to circulate blood to those parts of the body that must be able to react immediately. The other occurrence that is fairly common is that people change their diets dramatically when functioning in stressful conditions. Without compensating for this lack of nutrition the body will send vital nutrients only to those parts of the body that must function. Hair will become noticeably thinner without immediate action natural hair loss will occur rapidly.

Hair follicles do not receive the circulation of blood or nutrition that they need to keep hair healthy when people are in stressful conditions. The hair follicle becomes too weak to contain the hair and hair will begin to thin, break, and eventually the follicle will no longer produce hair. While a person may experience hair loss, if the proper nutritional supplements are introduced into the diet or via medication, hair will again begin to grow from those follicles.

Choosing to supplement the body with essential vitamins and minerals when an incident or event occurs instead of waiting until there are visible signs of natural hair loss will avoid the necessity of many other measures. Maintaining healthy hair will help an individual to stay more positive in a stressful situation and the supplements will also aid in keeping a person’s diet successful.
