Staying In A Hostel Can Be A Great Time – Here Are Some Decent Hostels In Paris
A first time visitor to Paris may choose to stay in hostels in Paris just for the fun and adventure that is connected, and there are many hostels adorning the Paris landscape. These hostels fall under various categories depending on individual tastes and the the amount of cash that one has for spending.
Here are some of Paris’ hostels:
1. The Hostel Richard: This friendly Paris hostel is located right in the center of the 11th district by the Place de la Republique. The Hostel Richard consists of 35 Paris economy hotel rooms. Because of the closeness of the hostel to the large Paris metro stations, it can be thought of as a place of convenience for most and it’s definitely not a bad Paris hotel. The Hostel Richard extends you a warm welcome to their Paris hostel. As with any hostel, I would say it would be more appropriate for students or long term travelers than business travellers or visitors who want luxury hotels.
2. The Aloha Hostel: It is a hostel that is close to a metro station, and therefore the idea of going out for site seeing will be easy to plan. Aloha Hostel is situated very near to the renowned Eiffel Tower. It is also complemented with free Wi-Fi right in the lobby, breakfast and a guest kitchen for use of any visitor who wants to cook for themselves. There is also a bar and the rooms are controlled by key cards. The downside of this hostel for late night clubbers and party lovers is that there is a lockout policy from midnight to early morning each day. This can also be an advantage for tourists that prefer quiet late at night.
3. St. Christopher Hostel: This hostel can hold 300 persons and they provide free Wi-Fi internet, free breakfast and free daytime luggage storage. Lockers are also provided, but you must have your own padlock to protect your stuff. It has a bar with music for entertainment and is an ideal place for party lovers. The metro station is only a very short distance from its location and it has an all female hostel facility called Oasis For Ladies. The downside is that it does not accommodate anybody under the age of eighteen years so if you’re traveling with a minor, this will not work.
4. Des Gobelins Hostel: This hostel offers a wide variety of modern facilities. It was put together with the youth in mind. Rated among the top 10 hostels by Guardian magazine, it is well known for being lively. They provide free Wi-Fi, fresh linens and free maps and storage. They are another that has a lockout time from midnight and in the morning they will give you free breakfast. Prices are very reasonable here.
5. Paris Perfect Hostel: This is a hostel is the perfect place to feel the alluring part of Paris because it is located in an exotic location. Its neighboring surroundings include the famous Moulin Rouge, Opera and the Sacre Coeur.
