There are fine men and women out there protecting the streets of your neighborhood. You might have had to deal with them occasionally. The numbers nine, one, and one were imbedded into your head so that if in an emergency and you needed help, you would know the number to call. Therefore, they go through the same training.

There aren’t many instances after you leave the police academy and are hired on a squad that you are faced with something that you didn’t learn. They try to prepare you the best they can. You made the commitment and said you had the desire they will train you however they can and they keep training you once you are a police officer.
Now, that you have an idea of what to expect, don’t let this scare you. You may have a lot to do before you to make it to being a police officer, but the end result is well worth it.
